Northwestern’s Founders Hall Gallery Presents Student Work

Winsted, CT – CT State Northwestern is proud to present their annual juried student art exhibition Wednesday, April 17 through Monday, May 6 in the Gallery at Founders Hall. The opening reception is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, 4 to 6 p.m. and coincides with the Mad River Arts poetry event featuring public readings and featured poet Frederick Douglass Knowles II. The exhibition, reception, and poetry event are free and open to the public.

NWCC Student Art 2024 ExhibitionStudent work in many art disciplines will be on view including drawing and painting, ceramics, sculpture, graphic and digital work, and photography. Faculty pick the best representative work from each class providing forty to sixty pieces overall.

“It is always great to see students shine across the art disciplines,” said Deb Kline, Graphic Design faculty and gallery coordinator. “The art faculty are excited to celebrate with our students and share their success with families and the community. The talent being nurtured at Northwestern is inspiring,” she said.
