Northwestern’s Entrepreneurial Center Announces January Startup Event

Winsted, CT – The Entrepreneurial Center of Northwest Connecticut, located at Connecticut State Northwestern, is pleased to announce its next Northwest Startup Community Night will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, 5 to 7 p.m. at The White Hart Inn, 15 Under Mountain Road, Salisbury. The event is free and open to the public although registration is required.

Northwest Startup Community Night features several up-and-coming startup business owners seeking advice and support from mentors across Connecticut. Mentors attending the event will hear presentations from each of the startup entrepreneurs, who will request assistance from their audience with their business development. Small groups of mentors will then rotate between the startups they feel they can best serve with their support, ideas, experiences, and connections to help the businesses succeed. Refreshments are served throughout the evening.

The event is sponsored by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation and the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation, in partnership with SCORE, The Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce, and The White Hart Inn.
