Northwestern Offers Small Business Seminar: The Business Model Canvas

 

WINSTED, CT – The Entrepreneurial Center at CT State Northwestern is pleased to announce the next Small Business Seminar; The Business Model Canvas will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The NW CT Chamber of Commerce, 59 Field Street, Suite 120, Torrington.

Participants will learn how to leverage the Business Model Canvas template to quickly launch a startup by identifying key aspects including value proposition, customer segments, channels, relationships, and key drivers of costs. They will then learn how to support their assumptions with testable hypotheses so they can spend less time and money on faulty business assumptions.

This important framework will be taught by John Schnyder, startup mentor, member of the board of directors for Connecticut Entrepreneurs Forum, and director of Business Development at Organization Ink, Inc.

This free event is sponsored by Torrington Savings Bank and supported by SCORE Northwest CT and The Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce. A light dinner will be provided.
