Non-Degree Seeking Students

Please note: The Office of Admissions will be closed on Friday, November 17th. We will reopen on Monday, November 20th at 8:30 a.m. 
 

If you are not seeking a degree from Northwestern Connecticut Community College and are only looking to take a few classes, applying is easy! The application fee is just $20 whether you apply online or by mail. Simply follow these steps:

1a. Complete an Application for Admission Online (you must have a credit card number in order to pay the required $20 application fee)

1b. Or print the Application for Admissions and submit the application with the non-refundable $20 application fee to the Admissions office, NCCC, Park Place East, Winsted, CT 06098 or fax to (860) 738-6437.

2. Demonstrate that course pre-requisites have been fulfilled.

  • Provide unofficial college transcripts (if applicable).
  • Or call 860-738-6330 to schedule a placment test. We encourage all testing students to learn more about the Accuplacer Placement Test

3. Submit a printable registration form. Fax to 860-738-6437.

NOTE: Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid and must be part time.
