WINSTED, CT – February 13, 2020 – Interested in becoming a part-time faculty member at a Connecticut Community College?  CT North-West region community colleges are hiring for fall 2020.

Asnuntuck, Naugatuck Valley, Northwestern Connecticut, and Tunxis Community Colleges will hold a combined Regional Part-Time Faculty Job Fair on March 5, from 6-8 p.m.  The event will be held at Tunxis Community College in the 600 Building, Tunxis Room. In case of inclement weather, check tunxis.edu for closing announcements. The snow date is March 12.

Academic deans, department chairs, and program coordinators from each of the four colleges will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Those attending are asked to bring unofficial transcripts and resumes.

“This North-West Regional Job Fair is a perfect example of the types of collaboration happening within our new regional structure,” said Dr. James Lombella, North-West Regional President, Connecticut Community Colleges. “Adjunct faculty serve a vital role in our colleges. I am excited for the opportunities that this event will create for these dedicated professionals as well as for the benefits they will ultimately bring to our students in the classroom.”

Adjunct job openings are available day and evening in a variety of academic disciplines for those interested in teaching online or on campus. A master’s degree or higher is required for most academic disciplines. Career-oriented programs and non-credit programs have varying requirements with an emphasis on field experience.
