How did you arrive at Northwest Christian:
I drove here, just kidding. My family wanted to move back to the west coast, so I watched for faculty positions and here I am.
What’s the most surprising thing about being here at Northwest Christian:
The warmth and welcoming feeling I get from everyone.
What is your favorite thing about the students, faculty, and staff at Northwest Christian:
We all work together for the students! If I need something from another faculty, they are all willing to give. I really like my office, the people, the students, the entire working environment is just great. I feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated!
Favorite class to teach:
Fraud! Or any accounting class.

My dissertation was on the Financing of Tribal Colleges. I am also looking to do research on fraud in small companies and non-profit organizations.
Advice for incoming students:
Get to know your professors, go to their offices, have coffee or lunch with them. They can be your best asset for success in college. Also, don’t get too involved in activities your first year, you need to g et acclimated to your new-found freedom.
I like my job because of…
…the students. I love to teach!!!!!

Getting my education and my CPA. On a personal level, being married to the same man for 31 years and having two sons.
If a friend or relative was considering Northwest Christian, and you had to describe the place in a text message with only a few words, what would you honestly say?
