Business Management Students Present Final Projects
WINSTED, CT - May 4, 2017 – Students from the Northwestern Connecticut Community College Business program presented their final projects at the 17th annual Principles of Finance campus presentations to members of the faculty and campus community on Thursday, April 20.
The Finance project is a team based, semester-long capstone experience that provides the structure and support by which upper level business students use the skills and tools acquired in the Business program to sift through mountains of information, extract relevant data, assess risk and make decisions based upon present and future expectations.
The project culminated in the 35-minute presentation by the team, followed by a 10-minute question and answer session during which, students spoke of their research and defended their findings.
Northwestern Connecticut Community College Business students face the rigors of a business education that focuses on combining traditional business modalities with creative simulation and communication technology to produce graduates who are consensus builders and leaders. The Northwestern Business Program is committed to creating critical thinkers and principle-centered organizational architects.
